The Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District said on February 6, 2026, that an eighth-grade student from Green Valley Middle won the 2025 Solano Library Teen Writing Contest. The announcement said that the student was one of the chosen winners of the 2025 Solano County Library program contest. Because of this, Green Valley Middle was one of the schools that took part in the countywide teen writing competition that year.
