John Ehrhardt Elementary 2026-27 enrollment for new TK and Kindergarten students begins January 20, 2026, at the school site. John Ehrhardt Elementary families are encouraged to attend the March 7 Black Family Conference hosted at Monterey Trail High School. John Ehrhardt Elementary will provide mandatory K-2 reading screenings starting in February 2026 to help guide individual student instruction.
Q1. Does John Ehrhardt Elementary School have a coding or robotics club after school for kids who are interested in technology and engineering?
Ans. The school has a robotics club where kids learn how to build and program robots with a variety of modern educational technology tools.
Q2. What do students at John Ehrhardt Elementary need to do to check out library books when they go there once a week?
Ans. Every week, students go to the library to hear stories and check out up to two books to take home.
Q3. Does John Ehrhardt Elementary have a special science curriculum for the higher grades that includes lab work?
Ans. The school uses the Next Generation Science Standards and does hands-on experiments on a regular basis to help students learn difficult scientific ideas.
Q4. How does John Ehrhardt Elementary help parents and teachers talk to each other about their students' homework and upcoming class projects?
Ans. Teachers use digital tools like TalkingPoints and Google Classroom to send all of their students' families daily updates and project requirements.
Q5. Does John Ehrhardt Elementary School take sixth graders on a field trip to an outdoor science and nature camp?
Ans. Sixth graders can go to an outdoor education camp for several days to learn about ecology and how to protect the environment.
