La Primaria Elementary is referenced as a community anchor site in ongoing efforts to build and connect green infrastructure in the San Gabriel Valley. A partnership with Amigos de los Rios and the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail has helped incorporate green space and interpretive signage near the school’s vicinity as part of a larger recreational trail project — bringing pride, nature access, and a safer outdoor environment to the area around the school.
