As an Apple Distinguished School, Unsworth Elementary is making progress in 21st-century education by teaching kids how to be good digital citizens and use technology safely. Recently, the school honored its dedicated staff, including retirees who had worked for decades in the Downey student community. Unsworth also still teaches robotics classes, which end with the exciting annual Robolympics competition for the whole district.
