Alameda Elementary School recently won the California PBIS Silver Award, which is a big deal, for its work in creating a safe and positive campus culture through student behavior supports. The school was also named an Apple Distinguished School, which means it uses technology in new ways to improve learning in the 21st century. The Alameda PTA was also named a National PTA School of Excellence three times for its excellent family involvement.
