Students and staff at Morningside Elementary participated in a meaningful community art project by helping paint a mural honoring Filipino-American labor leader Larry Itliong. The mural was created at the school library and tells the story of Itliong’s role in the labor movement and the historic grape strike in Delano.

Ans. Morningside has a lot of activities for students to do, like clubs, enrichment programs, and school events, that help them find new hobbies and interests.

Ans. To help students learn how to work together, teachers use group projects, cooperative learning tasks, and team-based activities.
Q3. Do students have chances to go to cultural or community events?
Ans. Yes, the school often puts on cultural celebrations, community events, and school events that show how different students are and how much they are involved.
Q4. How does the school keep parents up to date on what their kids are learning?
Answer: School communication channels, meetings, and chances to take part in school activities keep parents up to date.
Q5. What kinds of help are there for students to do well?
Answer. The school helps students reach their academic goals by giving them academic advice, counseling, and help from teachers.
