The school is part of the Delano Union Elementary School District, which recently received recognition for its innovative student-support initiative called “Promise 180: Every School Day Counts.” This program focuses on improving student attendance, engagement, and academic success across district schools, including Fremont Elementary. The initiative was honored with a Golden Bell Award at the California School Boards Association conference
