Being Updated
Fairfield Elementary is still a model for cooperative education, and every family has to do a "Family Job" or work hours to help the school run. The campus is getting ready for its special spring garden and hands-on science programs, which are usually run by parent volunteers. Families are also keeping an eye on the district-wide school boundary outreach series while administrators talk about the future of smaller campuses.
Q1. What does the "Family Job" requirement mean at Fairfield Elementary School?
Ans. To help with the daily running of the school, each family must do a specific task or volunteer hours.
Q2. Is Davis's Fairfield Elementary School in a city or a rural area?
Ans. The school is in a unique rural area that makes it possible for kids to do a lot of science and gardening outside.
Q3. Does Fairfield Elementary School have a full-day kindergarten program for its students?
Ans. The school has a developmental kindergarten program that helps young children learn basic social and academic skills.
Q4. What is the school's mascot, and how does Fairfield Elementary School encourage student leadership?
Ans. The mascot is the Farm, and students learn how to be leaders by working together on projects with students from different grades and taking on community responsibilities.
Q5. What do students at Fairfield Elementary School do for lunch every day?
Ans. Students usually bring their own lunches to eat in the outdoor picnic areas, where staff are in charge.
