Birch Lane Elementary is now taking applications for its Montessori choice program for the 2026–2027 school year. Students who live in the area will get first dibs on spots. Recently, the School Site Council got together to look over the Comprehensive School Safety Plan and figure out how much money they would need for the spring term. Students and staff are also getting ready for Spring Break, which starts on March 23, 2026.
Q1. Does Birch Lane Elementary School in Davis have a Montessori choice program for students?
Ans. Families can choose a Montessori-based instruction track through the district's choice application process.
Q2. What is the official color for Birch Lane Elementary School's mascot and spirit?
Ans. The Dolphin is the school's mascot, and students wear blue and white on spirit days to show that they are all one.
Q3. How does Birch Lane Elementary School keep students safe when they ride their bikes to school in the morning?
Ans. There are a lot of bike racks on campus, and staff members keep an eye on the paths to make sure students are safe when they walk their bikes.
Q4. Does Birch Lane Elementary School have any special music classes for sixth graders?
Ans. As part of the district-wide music curriculum, upper-grade students take weekly lessons in either strings or instrumental band.
Q5. What can parents do to help out at the Birch Lane Elementary School library?
Ans. Parents can help with shelving books and checking out students after passing a district background check and getting a TB clearance.
