Montair Elementary is located at 300 Quinterra Ln., Danville, California 94526. The school serves students from Kindergarten through Grade 5. Total enrollment at the campus is 494 students. The student–teacher ratio is 22:1. The student population includes an even distribution of 50% female and 50% male students. According to state assessment data, math proficiency is 70%, and reading proficiency is 78%. The school operates as a public elementary campus within the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, serving families in a large suburban community. Montair Elementary is part of the district's public elementary school network and serves students from nearby neighbourhoods through a traditional attendance boundary model. The school puts a lot of emphasis on reading and building strong academic skills, while keeping up good math grades. Teachers and staff help students learn and grow by teaching them in the classroom and giving them structured learning activities at all grade levels. The campus continues to have the same academic results. Homes surrounding the school commonly list above $1 million. The teachers are working hard to make this school one of the best elementary schools in California.

Montair Elementary School was able to participate in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District’s “Night with the Stars” (the recognition of excellent educators and staff in the district) celebration. Each school selects a “Shining Star” from their school to be honored at this event; therefore, each school has an opportunity to recognize someone who has made a positive and meaningful contribution to their school community. This year, Montair Elementary will host the 2026 “Night with the Stars” on April 29 to highlight all the amazing educators and staff at Montair Elementary who are working hard to support their students.

Ans. Yes, at Montair, we have programs/curricula for all grade levels from K-5.
Q2. In what ways will Montair provide support to a student who requires extra assistance?
Ans. Teachers will usually assist students with small group lessons and/or other instructional support in the classroom.
Q3. How do parents keep up-to-date on what is happening at their child’s school?
Ans. Parents receive information about what is happening at the school through newsletters, email communication, and scheduled meetings with the teacher.
Q4. Are students able to be involved in activities outside of their regular classes?
Ans. Yes, students will have the opportunity to engage in activities such as arts, music, and other school activities throughout the year.
Q5. What types of positive learning habits does Montair provide?
Ans. Staff members will help develop positive learning habits by establishing structure and showing students how being responsible and confident can assist them in the classroom.
