The latest news on the preparations for the 2025-2026 school year at Merwin Elementary School includes the enrollment of new transitional and kindergarten students. Parents are being invited to enroll their child as they begin receiving free breakfast and school lunch for the entire school year. The school district is also continuing its commitment to improving student literacy by implementing its new "Mustangs R.U.N. Wild!" reading program which encourages students to read and have a good understanding of what they read as they prepare their reading comprehension skills for long-term use.
