Glen Oak Elementary School has showcased several fun events on their campus that engaged both students and families in many ways. Some events were Read Across America, as well as a week of enrichment activities in sixth grade, that developed enthusiasm through reading, creative expression and positive spirit among all grade levels. The school also sponsored a Valentine's Day dance through their P.T.A. as a way for students to be able to connect and celebrate in a family-friendly setting. Overall, these events highlight the school's commitment to creating a positive, supportive atmosphere for all by promoting literacy, working together, and creating an enjoyable atmosphere for all student engagement throughout the year.
