Woodland Elementary School is preparing for the transition of its 2nd-grade students to Kaiser Elementary for the next school year. The school is holding informational sessions this January regarding the 2026 CAASPP and ELPAC testing requirements. Enrollment for new TK and Kindergarten students for the 2026-27 term is now active.
Q1. What is unique about the grade levels at Woodland Elementary?
Ans. This campus is specialized to serve only transitional kindergarten through second-grade students to provide a strong early foundation.
Q2. How does Woodland Elementary prepare students for third grade?
Ans. Staff coordinate closely with Kaiser Elementary to ensure a smooth academic and social transition for students entering third grade.
Q3. Does Woodland Elementary have a specific mascot or spirit color?
Ans. Students wear school colors on Fridays to show spirit and build a sense of community within the early childhood campus.
Q4. What is the early childhood enrollment process at Woodland Elementary?
Ans. Families must provide a birth certificate and immunization records to enroll their children in the early childhood programs this year.
Q5. Does Woodland Elementary host parent workshops on reading?
Ans. The school provides workshops to help parents learn how to support their young children’s developing literacy skills at home.
