Pomona Elementary School is utilizing new intervention aides this year to provide targeted literacy support to primary students. The school hosted a community meeting in January 2026 to discuss the impact of local construction on campus traffic. Families are being invited to the district's upcoming AI parent education session on January 22.

Ans. A lost and found area is located next to the library for parents and students to check for items.

Ans. Unclaimed articles are donated to local charitable organizations at the end of each school semester to help the community.

Ans. Students may bring their own equipment but hard bats and balls are prohibited for safety reasons on the playground.
Q4. How is traffic flow managed at Pomona Elementary?
Ans. Drivers must enter from Pomona Avenue and wait for staff to direct them to the curb for student pick-up.
Q5. Does Pomona Elementary have a specific safety award?
Ans. The school was recently recognized with the PBIS Gold award for its excellence in maintaining a safe learning environment.
