Back Bay High School was recently named a 2024 California Model Continuation High School. This is a prestigious four-year award that honors schools that are committed to providing new and helpful ways for students to learn. The Newport-Mesa Unified School District's facility master plan is helping the campus by making learning spaces more modern and improving campus security systems. Also, students are taking part in new community-based internship programs that give them hands-on experience in their chosen field and the chance to network with local businesses in Orange County.
