Washington Elementary is emphasizing the "Four C's"—Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, and Critical Thinking—throughout its 2026 programs. The school recently celebrated the "Spooky Season" with high levels of community participation and school spirit. Educators here are currently focusing on specialized strategies to engage students in advanced mathematics.
Q1. Is there a program at Washington Elementary that teaches kids how to solve problems with peer mediation?
Ans. Every day, chosen students are taught how to help their classmates settle small playground fights in a peaceful and helpful way.
Q2. How does Washington Elementary make sure that the drinking water stations for students are always clean and safe?
Ans. The school has modern water bottle filling stations that are checked and cleaned on a regular basis by the district facilities team.
Q3. Does Washington Elementary have any drama or theater classes after school?
Ans. Seasonal theater programs help students get better at acting and stagecraft by getting ready for small shows for their families and friends.
Q4. What kinds of classes for parents are available at Washington Elementary this year?
Ans. The school holds sessions on digital safety, how to help kids read at home, and how to understand the new state testing standards.
Q5. Does Washington Elementary use any special software to keep track of how well students are reading?
Ans. Teachers use digital assessment tools to keep track of each student's reading progress and suggest books that are right for them.
