Mariposa Avenue Elementary is currently working on its "modified" TK and Kindergarten schedules. These schedules give students four hours of specialized foundational instruction every day. The school recently held an event for the community to celebrate how much the students' reading skills and character improved during the winter term. Teachers are getting ready for the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) testing window, which will begin in the middle of April.

Ans. Dedicated specialists provide daily small-group instruction to help students develop literacy skills and meet specific growth goals.
