Thurgood Marshall Elementary School in Chula Vista, California, is doing a lot of good things! The school values diversity and includes students' cultures in its lessons and activities. A colorful mural shows off the community's rich cultural history. The 5000 Role Model of Excellence Mentoring Program, S.A.V.E. Promise, and TME "EAGLES" Safety Patrols are just a few of the programs that Marshall Elementary offers to help students become leaders and positive role models. The school also has a debate team and a student news crew, which help students think critically, communicate well, and feel good about themselves.
