The Chula Vista Elementary School District just started its Parent Ambassador Program to improve the connection between home and school. This program probably includes Chula Vista Hills Elementary. The Port of San Diego also gave the district $60,000 to improve environmental education for students and make sure that all students have the same chances to learn about science.
