For the 2025–2026 school year, Alta Vista Academy has started a number of programs that focus on the community. These include an Open House and "Coffee with the Principal" sessions to help staff and families get to know each other better. The School Site Council just had its first meeting to talk about the strategic goals and plans for student success for this term. These changes are in line with the academy's goal of giving students all the mental health and behavioral support they need to reach their full potential.
