Jensen Ranch Elementary School recently highlighted the achievements of Kathryn Gholson and Kimberly Montano as they were named Employees of the Year for the campus. The administration is encouraging all families to review the monthly "Jensen Ranch Round-Up" electronic newsletter for critical updates on student safety and academic goals. Looking ahead, the district is preparing for a public hearing on March 11, 2026, to discuss new developer fees for school facilities.
Q1. Does Jensen Ranch Elementary School have a separate technology lab where students can do research projects?
Ans. The library media center has special tools for advanced digital learning and research, even though students use their own devices.
Q2. What do you need to do to become a classroom volunteer at Jensen Ranch Elementary School?
Ans. Before helping out on campus, volunteers must show proof of a current TB clearance and pass a district background check.
Q3. Are there any gardening or environmental science clubs at Jensen Ranch Elementary School?
Ans. Students learn about biology and how to protect the environment in their area by planting things in the school garden during different times of the year.
Q4. How does Jensen Ranch Elementary School send families weekly updates and reminders?
Ans. Every Sunday night, the principal sends out a digital newsletter with important dates and reminders for all students about academics and social events on campus.
Q5. Do students at Jensen Ranch Elementary School have to take physical education classes?
Ans. California state law says that all students must have at least 200 minutes of physical education every ten days.
