Families and staff at Mission Avenue Open Elementary are taking part in upcoming PTA events like the Winter Book Fair and Family Fun Night. These events will help get the community involved and keep students interested this season.

Ans: The school places a lot of importance on getting students involved in the community, giving them a voice, and working together to learn in ways that help them grow both academically and personally.

Ans. Yes, upper-grade students can take part in student leadership programs, peer mentoring programs, and campus committees that teach them how to be responsible and work well with others.
Q3. What other activities are available during the school year?
Ans. Depending on their grade level and how much money they have, students may be able to join clubs, do arts and crafts, work on STEM projects, and go to school-sponsored events.
Q4. How does the school tell families how their child is doing?
Ans. Teachers keep parents informed by holding parent-teacher conferences, sending home report cards, using digital platforms, and talking to them often.
Q5. Does the school help students who need it?
Ans. Mission Avenue Open Elementary is a public school that follows district and state rules when it comes to providing special education services and personalized support plans.
