As part of its "Portrait of a Graduate" standards, Winnetka Avenue Elementary is getting its fifth-grade students ready for middle school in late 2026. The school recently held a community event to celebrate how much the students' reading and character had improved. Teachers are getting ready for the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) tests that will take place in April.
