Limerick Avenue Elementary is currently taking part in district-wide efforts to help students make up for missed class time during the winter months. The Parent Center and the school's leadership team are working together to put on workshops that will help kids do better in math and English Language Arts. Families are also getting information about when they can sign up for school in 2026–2027, which will start in late March.
Q1. Does Limerick Avenue Elementary School have a program for students who speak two languages?
Ans. The school has a Korean Dual Language program that helps students become very good at both Korean and English.
Q2. What kinds of technology can students at Limerick Avenue Elementary School use?
Ans. Each student has their own iPad or Chromebook to help them learn how to use technology and learn in a way that works best for them.
Q3. What does Limerick Avenue Elementary School do to help its students stay fit?
Ans. Every day before their academic lessons, students do ten minutes of guided exercise as part of the "Morning Move" program.
Q4. Does Limerick Avenue Elementary School have any projects that involve gardening or the environment?
Ans. The school has a garden run by students where kids learn about biology, nutrition, and how to take care of the environment by planting and harvesting.
Q5. What kinds of help are there for English Learners at Limerick Avenue Elementary School?
Ans. Dedicated ELD teachers give students daily lessons that are focused on helping them learn academic English while also doing well in their core subjects.
