Being Updated
A group of fifth-grade students at Castlemont Elementary recently won an award for their student-led Innovation Grant project. The team came up with a new way to run science camp with the help of their teachers. They set up a full-day outdoor learning program at Sanborn County Park that was affordable. The project was all about learning about science and nature by doing things. This program shows off students' creativity and ability to solve problems, as well as the school's focus on learning outside of the classroom.
