Being Updated
The University Preparation Charter School at CSU Channel Islands is currently accepting applications for the next school year. The school is still using its partnership with the university to give its students unique "high-impact" learning opportunities. The school's official website now has all the information you need about the lottery process for 2026–2027 and campus tours.
Q1. Is there a school uniform at University Preparation Charter School?
Ans. Students don't have to wear uniforms, but they do need to dress appropriately for a learning environment that is collaborative and in line with the university.
Q2. What kinds of childcare does University Prep Charter offer?
Ans. The school has expanded learning programs on site that provide supervision and enrichment after the regular school day ends.
Q3. What do parents of University Prep students need to do to volunteer?
Ans. Parents are encouraged to volunteer, but they must go through a registration process that includes background checks and tests for tuberculosis.
Q4: How does the partnership between the university and University Prep help students?
Ans. Students have high-impact learning experiences and visits to campus because the school has a close relationship with CSUCI.
Q5. Do the charter school buses pick up students?
Ans. Because it is a charter school, it does not offer traditional busing, and parents are responsible for getting their kids to and from school.
Note: Schedules may change during school holidays. Please contact School for exact Schedule.
