To help raise money for the school, Tierra Linda Elementary is getting ready for a Family Fun Night at Toppers Pizza on February 10, 2026. The PTA Executive Board will meet on February 12 to talk about the "Dippin' Dots" after-school treat sale and other events coming up in the spring. Students are also taking part in the Big Buddy-Little Buddy mentoring program, which pairs older students with TK-2nd graders.
Q1. Does Tierra Linda Elementary require students to wear uniforms?
Ans. Students don't have to wear uniforms, but they do have to follow the district's dress code to keep the environment focused.
Q2. What kind of after-school care is there for kids at Tierra Linda?
Ans. From the end of school until 6:00 PM every day, the district program offers supervised childcare on campus.
Q3. What can parents do to help out with the Tierra Linda PTA?
Ans. Parents can join the PTA by going to the monthly meetings and helping with fundraisers after getting the necessary clearances from the district.
Q4. Does Tierra Linda have any special programs for mentoring?
Ans. The answer is The school has a Big Buddy-Little Buddy program in which older students help younger students with different activities on campus.
Q5. Does Tierra Linda Elementary have buses that take students to and from school?
Ans. Students in general education who live within the normal walking distance of the school usually do not have access to busing.
