Being Updated
The ongoing campus renovation project at Pleasant Valley School of Engineering and Arts has made a lot of progress. Work on the exterior site lighting will continue into early 2026. The Principal recently held a "Principal for a Day" event in which a second-grade student attended staff meetings and helped with promotions. 8th graders right now are getting ready for their last promotion ceremonies, which will happen later this spring.
Q1. Do the students at the School of Engineering and Arts have to wear uniforms?
Ans. There is no set dress code, but clothes must be safe for hands-on engineering and art projects.
Q2. Does the Pleasant Valley School of Engineering and Arts have a program for young children?
Ans. The Early Education Campus has preschool programs that meet in the morning and afternoon for young children in the community.
Q3. How can parents help out with school projects on campus?
Ans. Parents who want to help must send in a volunteer packet that includes a background check and a recent negative tuberculosis test.
Q4. What special resources does this school have for engineering and the arts?
Ans. The campus has special maker spaces and studios that are meant to help with its combined engineering and arts curriculum.
Q5. Do students who go to this magnet school have access to buses?
Ans. Parents are usually in charge of getting their kids to and from school because it is a magnet school.
