The week of March 2026 at Loma Vista Elementary School in Brentwood was dedicated to celebrating Read Across America Week, where all classrooms had guest readers such as Dr. Eaton visit the campus to read to students and participate in literacy-related activities. Guests engaging in reading and other activities provided excitement throughout the school as students were able to find different ways to explore books and participate in reading programs. Activities during the week were designed to grow literacy, curiosity and a deeper connection between students and their learning community.

Ans. The school has enrichment activities, various types of classroom learning, and collaborative projects, all of which will support the students’ academic growth.

Ans. Teachers provide students with small group instruction and will track progress of students to provide them with additional academic support.
Q3. How do parents receive school updates and information about school programs?
Ans. Parents receive school updates via newsletters, messages from school representatives, and through parent/teacher conferences.
Q4. In what ways are team work and responsibility developed?
Ans. Students develop teamwork and responsibility in the many activities and events at school.
Q5. What things does the school do to prepare students for middle school?
Ans. The school has strong academic foundations and encourages students to become independent learners.
