Arovista Elementary School is located at 900 Eadington Drive in the North Brea area. It serves students in grades K-6 with a total enrollment of 482. The student–teacher ratio is 23:1. Math proficiency is 52% and reading proficiency is 52%. The gender mix is 49% female and 51% male. The school encourages students to take responsibility for their work and focus on their studies. Staff members work diligently to keep a daily schedule that is the same for all grades. The layout of the campus makes it easy to travel from one grade wing to another. During scheduled breaks, outdoor areas offer kids a place to move around. The administrative offices are located near the main entrance so they can greet visitors. There are well-marked paths that lead from one permanent or portable building to another on site. To make the learning environment more comfortable, indoor spaces are ventilated. Daily schedules are posted so that students and visitors know what to expect. Prices for homes in the area range from $850,000 to $1,250,000. Parents often say they trust the school to be a safe and welcoming place for all kids. This school is one of the best elementary schools in California.

The WellSpace at Arovista Elementary School is now open for business. This quiet place can help students with their social and emotional needs. The California PBIS Coalition also gave the school a Silver Award for how well it kept kids in line. This fall, the school also got people in the community excited by having a friendly attendance contest with Laurel Elementary. It was in the news about education in the area.
