Starting in the 2026–2027 school year, all TK and Kindergarten students at Brookside Elementary will have to follow a new AM/PM schedule. This is to make room for more students. On August 7, the school held its Back to School Night for the 2024–2025 school year. This event introduced families to the AVID organizational tools they would need for the school year. Right now, students are taking part in a number of spring events, such as the District Literacy Fair at the district offices.
