Q1. Will Central Elementary still be a public school in the 2025–2026 school year?
Ans. As part of a plan to combine and improve schools in the district, the school closed for good in June 2024.
Q2. Where can I get official student transcripts from the old Central Elementary?
Ans. To get all of their academic and health records, former students must get in touch with the BPUSD Student Services Department.
Q3. What happened to the actual building of Central Elementary after it closed?
Ans. The site has been turned into the Baldwin Park Arts and Recreation Center, which is open to the public for events and activities.
Q4. What schools now serve students who used to go to Central Elementary?
Ans. Based on new boundary maps, students were moved to active campuses nearby, such as De Anza or Tracy Elementary.
Q5. Does the Central Elementary website still have news about the district that is current?
Ans. Yes, the Central Elementary portal is still open so that the local community can see important announcements that affect the whole district.
