This month, school officials at Pioneer Drive Elementary acted quickly after hearing that a student might have had a gun on campus. They found out that it was a realistic-looking BB gun and worked with the police to make sure the students were safe. The event showed how important it is for families and school staff to be alert and talk to each other.
