The City of Arvin is thinking about building a new sports complex next to Grow Academy Arvin's campus. This would include soccer fields, hardtops, and P.E. facilities. The idea was brought up at a recent public planning hearing to improve the sports and physical education facilities for students.
Q1. Is there a dress code or school uniform at Grow Academy Arvin?
Ans. To create a focused and respectful learning environment, Grow Academy Arvin follows a dress code set by the charter organization.
Q2. Are there programs or opportunities for learning after school?
Ans. Depending on staffing and student needs during the school year, the school may only offer limited after-school academic support or enrichment programs.
Q3. How does Grow Academy Arvin help parents and families get involved?
Answer. Families are encouraged to get involved by going to meetings, school events, and talking to teachers and other staff members on a regular basis.
Q4. Does the school help students get to and from school?
Ans. The school decides if transportation is available, and it may not always be. Families should check their options directly when they enroll.
Q5. Do students get meals during the school day?
Ans. Grow Academy Arvin is a charter school that gets money from the government. It usually takes part in school meal programs that give breakfast and lunch to students who qualify.
