Maidu Virtual Charter Academy is currently improving its flexible educational model by adding more dual-enrollment partnerships. This lets students earn college credits through Sierra College while still meeting their high school requirements. To help students make the switch to post-secondary paths, the academy recently added new specialized workshops on digital literacy and career readiness. The program also continues to offer personalized academic coaching, which means that each student gets a curriculum that works with their own schedule and way of learning.
