Being Updated
After a final public hearing by the Arcata School District Board of Trustees in May 2025, Coastal Grove Charter in Arcata got permission to renew its charter. The renewal lasts for five years, so the school can stay open until June 2030. This choice helps the school keep using its Waldorf-inspired way of teaching. It also gives families peace of mind that the school will stay the same for the next few years. The renewal shows that the school is still an important part of the local education system. It shows that the school will keep helping students in the community with the programs it already has.
