Arcata Elementary School recently had a mobile dental clinic on campus to help keep students healthy. Open Door Community Health Centres offered the service, and students could get basic dental checkups and care during school hours. This was helpful for families who might have trouble making appointments outside of the home. Students could use the service more easily and conveniently at school. It also gave students a place to get care that they were used to. These kinds of things show how the school is trying to help students learn and stay healthy.
