In February 2026, Ramona Elementary School held a large community event to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The students and their families came out to celebrate at this cultural event which included a variety of student performances and active participation from all students. Various aspects of the culture associated with this holiday were on display and members of the community were able to participate in the activities outside the school's front entrance on the campus on 6th Street. The school is demonstrating a continuing commitment to provide cultural education and build strong partnerships with families throughout their K-8 programming.
