Frank Otis Elementary in Alameda is going to get some exciting new things! The school is starting a $42 million modernization project that will change everything. It will start in 2026. This big project will include a new two-story classroom building, a new administrative center, and a new media library.
The new campus is meant to spark creativity. The main academic quad has different planting areas that look like natural settings like meadows and forests.
Q1. Are there after-school programs at Frank Otis Elementary?
Ans. Yes, depending on the year, schools or community partners may offer after-school enrichment and childcare programs.
Q2. Do parents have a chance to get involved at the school?
Ans. Yes, parents can get involved by volunteering, going to school events, and joining parent-led groups.

Ans. Yes, according to district rules, students can get help with their schoolwork and counseling.
Q4. Do students go on field trips?
Ans. Yes, field trips and other educational outings for each grade level are usually planned to help students learn in the classroom.
