It is with great sadness that Garden Lakes Elementary shares the news of a student's death. The student was hit by a driver suspected of being impaired while crossing a street in Avondale. Counselors are available at the school to support students and staff during this difficult time.

In other news, Garden Lakes Elementary is continuing its work with ASU Prep Global. They are growing the Engineering & Design academy by adding personalized digital learning and improving the K-8 STEAM program.
