Washington Magnet Elementary School is a public K–5 magnet school in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is part of the Little Rock School District. The school has about 250 to 260 students and an 11:1 student-to-teacher ratio, which means that classes are smaller and students can get more individualized instruction and interact with their teachers more closely. Washington Magnet Elementary is a magnet school that focuses on enrichment programs that help students think critically, be creative, and stay interested in schoolwork along with the regular curriculum. Literacy, math, science, and social studies are the main subjects taught, but there are also STEAM-based and hands-on learning opportunities.
