In 2025, Leverett Elementary will celebrate its 125th anniversary, which is a big deal because it has been serving the community for more than 100 years.
The Fayetteville Public Schools board recently approved a $499,751 construction package for a new playground at Leverett Elementary. This is part of the ongoing work to make the school's facilities better.
The school is taking part in the district-wide "Safe Routes to School" program, which aims to make it safer for students to get to and from school and to encourage them to walk or bike to school.
