Berkeley County Schools recently worked with Burke Street Elementary School to make sure that all of the students are safe and healthy. On March 7, 2025, the school held special presentations to teach students how to stop bullying, stay safe, and get involved in their community. The point of these sessions was to give students the information and tools they needed to make the school a better and safer place.

Ans. The school has art, music, and after-school clubs that let kids explore their interests.

Ans. Yes, the school has a library with a lot of books and digital resources that students can use.

Ans. Yes, the school offers tutoring, intervention programs, and other help for students who need it.

Ans. Burke Street Elementary has safe entrances, supervised playgrounds, and plans for what to do in case of an emergency.
