Being Updated
Rockbrook Elementary School debuted a new playground for kindergarten through sixth-grade students in August 2025, funded by a 2023 bond measure. The broader project includes a new gymnasium and early childhood spaces, with the Design Development plan approved by the Board of Education in December 2024.
Q1. What does Rockbrook do to make sure that the playground equipment is safe and in excellent shape?
Ans. Rockbrook regularly checks the playground equipment and follows the district's rules for repairs, so staff can report problems and keep the play areas safe.
Q2: What do families need to know about bus safety and how things work?
Ans. Bus safety rules tell students to wait in supervised areas, get on and off the bus carefully, and follow the driver's instructions so that rides are safe and orderly.
Q3. How does Rockbrook's Lost & Found work?
Ans. Items that are lost and found are kept in one place. Families are asked to label their things and check the area or call the office if they can't find something.
Q4. What does Rockbrook need from parents who want to help out or visit?
Ans. Volunteers and visitors must sign in at the office and pass any necessary school or district checks so that adults can safely help with classroom activities.
Q5: How does the PTA plan important dates and fundraising events?
Ans. The PTA puts out a calendar of important fundraisers and family events so that parents can plan to go and stay up-to-date on how the money helps the school.
