Paddock Road Elementary School reported that the Design Development package for its construction project was approved by the Westside Community Schools Board of Education in November 2024. The approval moves the project forward toward future building upgrades.
Q1. How does Paddock Road help kids learn how to make early guesses?
Ans. During math class, students practice making accurate guesses about lengths, amounts, and capacities.
Q2. How does the school teach kids how to analyze character traits?
Ans. Using district literacy strategies, teachers help students find traits, motivations, and behaviors in stories.
Q3. What habits do students have that help them stay organized while working on projects?
Ans. Students use folders, supply tubs, and step-by-step task charts to keep track of assignments that have more than one step.
Q4. How does Paddock Road help people learn how to read maps?
Ans. In early social studies, students learn about simple maps, legends, and compasses.
Q5. What does the school do to help students understand solids and liquids better?
Ans. Students see things like melting, mixing, and freezing that show how matter changes states.
