Field Club Elementary School will hold its Winter Music Program on Friday, December 5, 2025, with two scheduled performances. The event will showcase student musicians and seasonal music selections.
Q1. In what ways does Field Club help kids learn to speak?
Ans. Students take part in structured partner talk, vocabulary-building routines, and classroom discussions that follow OPS literacy practices.
Q2. How does the school get kids interested in learning about local history?
Ans. Social studies units at each grade level teach students about Omaha's historic neighborhoods, community landmarks, and cultural stories.
Q3. What methods help kids learn how to compare things early on?
Ans. Teachers use sorting tasks, Venn diagrams, and hands-on matching activities to help kids learn how to think analytically.
Q4. How does Field Club include music in its activities?
Ans. Students get music lessons from the district that focus on rhythm, melody, and performance skills that meet OPS standards.
Q5: What habits help kids stay on track during center rotations?
Ans. Teachers use color-coded stations, task cards, and timers to help students do each learning activity on their own.
