Bangor has a calm kind of morning where you notice the air feels a bit cool even in early fall. Parents move slowly but steadily, some walking with their kids while others pull out of driveways that sit close together. The homes around here look like older New England houses with simple yards and a few maple trees leaning over the sidewalks. You can hear birds more clearly than traffic on most days. There are a couple of small shops and a local bakery that gets busy with folks grabbing something quick before work. By afternoon the neighborhoods soften even more. Kids run around the parks or sit on the grass after school. The whole place feels familiar, almost like the town prefers staying steady rather than rushing anywhere.
