Recently, Purple Sage Elementary School threw a big party for "Innovation & Imagination Week." From students to staff to families, got together. The goal of this new program was to encourage learning through doing and creativity. Students worked together in classrooms that had been turned into studios to solve small engineering problems, do science projects outside, and tell stories. Teachers said that students were much more interested in learning when they were excited to try new things and show their friends what they had made.
Q1. Does Purple Sage offer arts programs?
Ans. Students can take classes in music, drama, and the visual arts.
Q2. Are there any STEM jobs open?
Ans. The school has science experiments and math challenges built into lessons.
Q3. Is there a program for student leaders?
Ans. Older students can join peer mentoring programs or leadership councils.
Q4. Are there activities for families to get involved in?
Ans. Parent nights, workshops, and family reading events are held on a regular basis.
Q5. Does the school encourage people to live healthy lives?
Ans. Purple Sage focuses on lessons about nutrition, exercise, and health.
