My project is the Smart Entrance Exit System. It uses IR sensors and push buttons to allow secure access, with a double-layer security feature. The system first detects motion using the IR sensor and then requires a correct password to grant entry. This project is useful for banks, vaults, safes, or personal alarms, combining coding, electronics, and security logic to make entrances safer and smarter.

I’m excited to present my Smart Entrance Exit System. I’ve been coding with Moonpreneur for a year, and I love robotics and circuits. For this project, I wanted to create a secure, user-friendly entrance system using a double-layer security approach.

The system allows entry in two ways. First, the IR sensor detects motion. When motion is detected, the user must enter the correct password, like 1-2-3-4, to gain access. If the password is correct, a green LED flashes and entry is granted. If the password is incorrect, a red LED flashes, denying access. This ensures that only authorized users can enter.

The second method uses push buttons as an alternative entry system. Users press the correct buttons, and the system validates the input in real time. The same LED indicators provide visual feedback, making the system intuitive and secure.

The code was created using Python on a microcontroller. I used modules from machine and time libraries to control pins, LEDs, and sensors. I also implemented logic to handle incorrect inputs, timing, and user guidance, such as instructing the user to place their hand over the sensor or press the buttons.

This system has practical applications in banks, vaults, safes, or as a personal alarm. I enjoyed building it, especially creating the two-layer security logic and testing the sensors and LEDs. It combines electronics, coding, and problem-solving to make entrances safer, smarter, and more reliable.
