MoonCampaign by Aavya (7 years)
My project is called the Fortune Teller. It has three color choices: cyan, yellow, and magenta. The user thinks of a color and presses the corresponding button. When a button is pressed, the Micro:bit lights up with that color and plays a short melody. It also gives a fun fortune, like “You get to go on vacation” or “You get to eat your favorite food.” Pressing multiple buttons can give different messages. It’s a fun way to play with friends and family.

I created a Micro:bit game called the Fortune Teller. This project is designed to be interactive and fun for kids, friends, and families. The Fortune Teller has three color choices: cyan, yellow, and magenta. The person playing the game thinks of one color and then presses the corresponding button on the Micro:bit.
Once a button is pressed, the Micro:bit lights up in the chosen color and plays a short melody. Along with the light and music, the Micro:bit shows a fun fortune. For example, pressing the cyan button could reveal, “You get to go on vacation.” Pressing the yellow button might show, “You get to eat your favorite food.” Pressing the magenta button, or a combination of buttons, gives other exciting messages like, “You get to make something special.”

Everything parents need to know about building future-ready skills in an AI-powered world.
The future of work is changing rapidly. According to the World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report 2025, while AI is expected to create 69 million new jobs globally by 2030, it is also projected to eliminate 83 million roles, especially those involving routine and repetitive tasks. The message is clear: success in the future will belong to those who can think critically, solve complex problems, and adapt to change.
While AI can automate tasks, it cannot replicate uniquely human abilities such as:
These are the future-proof skills every child needs.
MoonCampaign gives students (ages 7–16) hands-on opportunities to build real projects using technology. Along the way, they develop:
Project-based learning pushes children beyond memorization. It teaches them to experiment, debug mistakes, solve unexpected problems, and think independently. When kids build, test, fail, improve, and present their work, they develop the exact mindset needed to thrive in an AI-driven world—not just as users of technology, but as future creators and innovators.
Every child is gifted. Discover how yours can innovate and lead
